Nakheel Mall will open after four years of construction on November 28, coinciding with celebrations for the UAE’s 48th National Day, Invest-Gate reports.

Located at the center of Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, the AED 1.2 bn mall will have five retail levels to encompass an array of 300 world-class commercial, dining, and recreational spots, while featuring 4,000 parking lots, Dubai-based Nakheel Properties said in a press release on November 20.

According to the statement, Nakheel Mall will have easy access to the Palm Monorail with a separate station and be the access point for The View – a public observatory due to open at the neighboring Palm Tower in 2020, which is a 230-meter tower nestled on the island.

“Nakheel Mall combines first-class retail facilities with unique attractions at one of the world’s most famous landmarks, Palm Jumeirah. It is the ultimate destination for new concepts in shopping, dining, entertainment, and leisure, providing on-the-doorstep convenience for The Palm’s 78,000 residents, and a stunning new attraction for the millions of tourists who visit the UAE each year,” Managing Director of Nakheel Mall Omar Khoory was quoted as saying.

“We look forward to celebrating the arrival of this vibrant new destination as Dubai’s busiest time of year gets underway, with the National Day weekend, Festive Season, New Year and Dubai Shopping Festival among the many seasonal events over the next few months,” Khoory elaborated.
