Dubai’s Atlantis The Palm to Undergo USD 100 mn Refurbishment
Atlantis The Palm, a luxury hotel resort located at the apex of the Palm Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates, is launching a three-year refurbishment programme worth USD 100 mn, Invest-Gate reports.
Located in Dubai, the five-star destination resort’s 1,539 rooms and suites will undergo a revamp; 50 rooms and suites will be refurbished every six weeks, with completion scheduled for 2019.
This action comes after the resort recorded impressive results during the first five months of 2017, with occupancy levels rising 11% y-o-y to 93% on average.
The renovation project comes ahead of the release of Atlantis’ second property, the USD 1.4 bn Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences in Dubai, which will be launched in late 2019.
The new property will boast 231 residences as well as 795 new lavish guestrooms and suites on over 10 hectares of land.
