Dubai-based developer The First Group celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony on its latest hotel project, the Millennium Place JVT Dubai, according to a press release on Monday.

The four-star property is scheduled to open in 2019 and is located in the Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), and will be managed by Millennium & Copthorne, Middle East & Africa, an international hospitality group.

The ceremony was attended by senior management staff from both The First Group and Millennium & Copthorne as well as by The First Group’s newest brand ambassador, cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar, also an investor in the new hotel.
