Dubai’s RTA to Implement Road Projects Worth AED 800 mn

Dubai will be enhancing Latifa Bint Hamdan Street and the Junction of Umm Al-Sheef-Latifa Bint Hamdan streets at a total cost of AED 800 mn.

The project, which will be completed in 2018, will link the Jumeirah district with Al-Khail Road. The road will be developed by China State Company as part of Dubai’s plan of demographic expansion and the Road Transport Authority (RTA)’s master plan, according to a released statement.

The master plan includes improving the network of roads, bridges, underpasses, and crossings to accommodate increasing traffic congestion.

Another project will be developed by the National Contracting Company linking the SZR & Al-Khail road and Jumeirah area to the west and Dubai Land to the east, according to RTA’s released statement.
