The Giza Governorate commenced paving Al Mohawalat Street in the Industrial Zone in cooperation with Directorate of Roads and Transportation, Al Borsa News reported.

The road length is four kilometers and the paving work will cost EGP 10 million, said Mohamed Kamal Al Daly, Giza Governor.

The road extends up to the Cairo- Alexandria Desert Road and the Farag Axis, which experiences a high traffic density during the day.

“The Giza governorate aims to create new routes and hubs this year to solve the traffic congestion and to increase road efficiency to link cities to each other,” said Al Daly.

Road work is expected to complete by October of this year with asphalt initial work currently underway, said Fathi Sayed, Director of Roads Directorate of Giza.
