A total of EGP 150 million, earmarked for utility and infrastructure work in Beni Suef, has been awarded to the Arab Contractors Company and Universal Co. For Marine Works & Great Projects, reported Al Borsa News.

Utility work will be completed for 65 acres of land allocated for this fiscal year, to be handed to  the winning companies this month, said Mahmoud Abu Alqasim, Head of Housing Directorate in Beni Suef.

The work is set to be conducted on 60 acres divided over 13 plots of lands, varying  between 4,600-9,500 square meters in size.

The two companies were asked to speed up the completion of infrastructure work.

The governorate has postponed the launch of four investment projects for public bidding to the end of this year due to the delay in infrastructure work, said Abu Alqasim.
