EGYGAB Signs Strategic Partnership with U-Hotels to Manage Masaya Resort in Sidi Abdel Rahman

Real estate developer EGYGAB has signed a strategic partnership with Absolute Hotel Services to manage and operate the Masaya resort project in Sidi Abdel Rahman, North Coast, Invest-Gate reports.

Under the agreement, the resort will be operated under the U-Hotels brand, marking the first fully managed resort by the hotel chain in Egypt.

The agreement was signed by Mohamed Gaballah, Chairman of EGYGAB, and Kevork Deldelian, CEO of Absolute Hotel Services for the Middle East and Africa. Gaballah stated that U-Hotels will manage the resort’s hospitality operations and all on-site services. He added that the collaboration aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030, which aims to double the number of licensed hotel rooms from 230,000 to 460,000 by 2030.

Gaballah emphasized the significance of tourism development, especially along Egypt’s North Coast, which is increasingly appealing to European tourists. He noted that U-Hotels’ research highlighted the area’s potential, particularly due to its favorable climate and year-round accessibility.

Deldelian expressed satisfaction with partnering with EGYGAB, describing it as a reputable developer. He stressed Egypt’s strong investment appeal in the MENA region and highlighted the country’s tourism sector as a key economic pillar.

Sharif Boshra, Chief Commercial Officer at EGYGAB, noted that Masaya spans 30 acres in Sidi Abdel Rahman and includes villas, twin and town houses, and chalets. Construction has reached 80%, and the project is scheduled for delivery in summer 2026.

Ahmed Shams, Head of Sales at EGYGAB, said 80% of the project has already been sold. The resort will feature 77 hotel rooms and 400 serviced units, all benefiting from premium hospitality standards.

Marketing Director Ibrahim Elshafie said the partnership introduces a new standard of luxury and hospitality in the North Coast, positioning Masaya as a unique lifestyle destination.
