Egypt Breaks World Record for Longest Iftar Table in NAC

Egypt just managed on June 1 to snag a new world record for the longest-ever Iftar table in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), shortly after it broke a record for Rod El Farag Axis Bridge – the widest cable-stayed bridge with a width of 67.36 meters, Invest-Gate reports.

The Official Guinness Records said the 10,465-foot table (3189.83 meters) was confirmed longer than the previous record-holder, a 9,789-foot (2,983.64 meters) table set up in Ajman, UAE, in 2018, according to a recent official statement.

The enormous table offered food for more than 7,000 people, including representatives of Guinness World Record, according to Khaled El Hosseini, spokesperson of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), NAC’s master developer.

Additionally, El Hosseini noted that visitors and representatives toured the new capital before holding the milestone event to explore its famous landmarks and under-development projects.

According to the record-keeping organization, there are currently more than 90 entries for Egypt, ranging from the largest underpants to the fastest cat breed and deepest scuba dive.
