Egypt marked its National Day at Expo 2025 Osaka with an official celebration led by H.E. Eng. Hassan El Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Invest-Gate reports.
The event reflected Egypt’s vision for international cooperation, innovation-led development, and sustainable futures.
Held under the Expo’s theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, the Egyptian Pavilion spotlights the nation’s bold ambitions and enduring heritage, positioning Egypt as a regional hub for smart cities, renewable energy, digital transformation, and industrial innovation.
In his remarks, Minister El Khatib expressed deep appreciation to the Government and people of Japan, as well as the Expo organizers, for hosting this world-class platform that fosters global dialogue and exchange.
“Egypt’s participation at Expo 2025 Osaka is more than symbolic. It is a celebration of mutual trust and shared aspirations between two nations whose civilizations have shaped history and whose futures are rooted in innovation and resilience,” the Minister said.
He emphasized Egypt’s growing role in shaping the global economy through regional trade connectivity, competitive talent, and cutting-edge development across infrastructure and green industries.
Highlighting Japan as a long-standing strategic partner, El Khatib noted the alignment in values such as discipline, innovation, and adaptability that bind both countries. He invited Japanese stakeholders and international visitors to explore the Egyptian Pavilion, where the creativity of the past meets the ambition of the future.
The Minister concluded by thanking the Egyptian team and partners for their efforts in bringing Egypt’s presence at Expo 2025 to life, underscoring that this National Day marks a new chapter of deepened partnership and investment windows between Egypt and Japan.
