Minister of Housing, Utilities, Urban Communities Moustafa Madbouly announced the completion of 612 three-bedroom apartments of 143 square meters each in New Toshka City, Invest-Gate reports.
The government finalized the apartments as part of the middle-income housing project, and plans to build an additional 612 houses to be finalized as part of the social housing project within the city, according to a ministry statement.
Madbouly also announced the completion of a – 581- square meter- medical center, while other developments under construction include a mosque, a mix-used commercial market spreading on 10,586 square meters, and a sports club.
Infrastructure works currently in progress include an inner roads network, water networks, and irrigation networks for green landscapes on site, water treatment plants, rural sanitation, and electricity networks.
