Officials from the Egyptian government and the US multinational corporation General Electric have discussed ways of upgrading the national railways in the coming period, Invest-Gate reports.
Minister of Investment and International Co-operation Sahar Nasr and Transport Minister Hesham Arafat met the CEO of General Electric Egypt, Ayman Khattab, to discuss an offer by the technology giant to upgrade Egypt’s railroads and supply the national railways with 100-200 train carriages.
