Egypt Gov’t Delivers 173 New Units in Dar Misr

Egypt’s government is handing over new residential units in Dar Misr project designed for middle-income citizens, Invest-Gate reports.

The Housing Ministry delivered 173 units, of which 120 are in New Damietta, 20 in Badr City, 19 in the 10th of Ramadan City and 14 units in Obour City, according to a Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities statement.

There are other finished units that will be delivered to owners once legal procedures are finalized.

Dar Misr residential project was announced almost three years ago as part of the housing ministry’s efforts to limit the increase in prices in the real estate sector.

The nationwide project offers housing units approximately 30% lower in prices than the private sector.
