The Egyptian government reveals updates on two residential projects that are being constructed in Cairo’s El Salam City, Invest-Gate reports.

Digging works started at Ma’an for Developing Slums Foundation’s project valued at EGP 550 mn, according to Khaled Sadek, CEO of the Informal Settlements Development Fund (ISDF).

Being developed by five major companies, the project aims to establish 102 buildings, comprising 3,200 units.

Al Mahrousa 1 and 2 projects are being implemented in El Salam City by eight developers with total investments of EGP 800 mn, with expectations to feature 4,800 units.
