Egypt, Greece, and Cyprus signed on October 10 a number of agreements for the collaboration in the fields of industry, trade, and education, Invest-Gate reports.
Among the deals, a cooperation agreement was inked between Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Enterprise Greece, and Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) for the promotion of direct investment in Egypt, according to Egypt’s State Information Service (SIS).
Further memoranda of understanding (MoU) were signed between the three countries to boost cooperation in the field of small enterprises and entrepreneurship as well as in the field of education, SIS noted.
The signing of the agreements was witnessed by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades, and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras as they participated in a trilateral summit held on Crete island, Greek.
