Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announces that around EGP 1.548 bn worth of wastewater plants and networks are implemented in 2022, Invest-Gate reports.

Chairman of Greater Cairo Sanitary Drainage Company (GCSDC), Adel Hassan, reveals that replacement and upgrade of wastewater networks and facilities cost EGP 203 mn.

He adds that replacement and renovation of hydromechanical systems in plants and pumps cost EGP 310 mn.

GCSDC contributes EGP 570 mn to national projects, Hassan notes.

The chairman announces that the company enlarges its car fleet and procures new equipment with a total cost of EGP 290 mn.
