Egypt Inaugurates Investment Pavilion in Russia’s Fan Zone

The Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation (MIIC) has inaugurated on Monday, June 18, Egypt’s pavilion in the Fan Zone in Russia’s St. Petersburg to promote for Egypt’s investment map, Invest-Gate reports.

On the behalf of Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Deputy CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), has opened the pavilion, according to a ministerial statement.

MIIC and GAFI have presented Egypt’s investment map, which comprises more than 1,000 investment opportunities, in addition to providing instructions on how to establish companies, electronic services and incentives offered to investors, and economic indicators and competitive advantages of Egypt’s economy.

Egypt is offering all the investment opportunities included in Egypt’s investment map in Russia during the World Cup to make advantage of the event in promoting the huge investment diversity and potential that Egypt offers, Nasr highlights in the statement.

This comes within the framework of the deal “Egypt -Experience & Invest” inked with the Fédération International de Football Association (FIFA) to become an official regional supporter of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The deal aims to “promote the country as a global investment destination, and to attract more tourists from around the world to visit the country,” according to the statement.

Dedicated for the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, “Egypt -Experience and Invest” campaign’s website can be accessed at www.investinegypt.gov.eg, which features links to information on investment opportunities in Egypt.
