Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting today with Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family of Qatar, on the sidelines of the 12th World Urban Forum, Invest-Gate reports.
Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity; Ambassador Ihab Fahmy, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Arab Affairs; and officials from both ministries were also present.
At the outset of the meeting, Madbouly extended a warm welcome to the guests, underlining the productive cooperation with Qatar. He conveyed his regards to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and extended an invitation for his visit to Egypt in the near future.
In return, the Qatari Minister of Social Development and Family welcomed the Prime Minister and conveyed greetings from Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, to Egypt President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. She also relayed the well wishes of the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs for the success of the forum.
Expressing gratitude, the Qatari Minister thanked the Prime Minister for his directives to enhance cooperation and support between the two countries.
During the meeting, discussions centered on cooperation frameworks between Egypt and Qatar, as well as collaborations involving associations and civil institutions within both nations. Madbouly affirmed Egypt’s readiness to collaborate across various sectors to advance the mutual interests of the two countries.
