Egypt’s net foreign reserves rose year-on-year at the end of January 2018, Invest-Gate reports.
Foreign reserves reached USD 38.209 bn at the end of January 2018, compared to USD 37.019 bn at the end of December 2017, according to a Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) statement.
Net foreign direct investment (FDI) increased 14.5% to USD 7.9 bn in FY2016/17, which ended on June 30, from USD 6.9 bn in the prior-year period.
