According to Cabinet Spokesperson Mohamed El-Homsany, Egypt and Qatar are preparing to launch a major partnership to develop an integrated real estate and tourism project in the Samla and Alam El-Roum areas of Matrouh Governorate on Egypt’s North Coast. The project reflects Egypt’s strategic vision to expand balanced development and unlock the economic potential of emerging destinations such as the western North Coast, Invest-Gate reports.

El-Homsany stated that the full details and investment value of the partnership have not yet been announced, noting that the official declaration will be made by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly in the coming period.

The agreement comes within the framework of discussions held between Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani during Madbouly’s recent visit to Doha.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing economic and investment cooperation, with the Matrouh project marking a new phase in Egyptian-Qatari relations and supporting Egypt’s broader sustainable development goals.
