Egypt’s net foreign reserves rose at the end of September 2017, Invest-Gate reports.
Foreign reserves reached USD 36.535 bn at the end of September 2017, an increase from USD 36.143 bn at the end of August, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said in a statement on October 2.
The CBE recently announced that net foreign direct investment (FDI) increased 14.5% to USD 7.9 bn in FY2016/17, which ended on June 30, compared to USD 6.9 bn in the previous fiscal year.
