Egypt’s tourism sector is taking a number of steps to create a diversified market for attracting foreign tourism, Invest-Gate reports.
“There are promising investment opportunities in the North Coast and Al-Alamein, especially in the tourism sector,” Egypt’s deputy minister of tourism, Adela Ragab, was quoted in a ministry statement as saying.
She added that her ministry is coordinating with the investment ministry to promote tourism in the area.
Ragab’s statements were made during a meeting with representatives from big European investment funds, as they were visiting the country.
She stated that the country is already attracting Arabs in the summer season, and Europeans in the winter, but the ministry is seeking to diversify such trends and patterns.
