Egypt will establish an economic zone in the Golden Triangle area spanning along the cities of Safa and Quseir at its base with the Upper Egyptian city of Qena at the top, Invest-Gate reports.
Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi issued on July 24 a decree for establishing the new project. The economic zone of Egypt’s Golden Triangle will be built on an area of 2.2 mn feddans in Upper Egypt.
The Golden Triangle Specialized Economic Zone (SEZ) aims to attract global mining investors.
