Egypt’s Housing Ministry will open its doors in February for Egyptian expats interested in reserving residential units, Invest-Gate reports.
A total of 18,061 two- and three-bedroom units will be available for reservation for one month starting from February 4, Mai Abdel Hamid, Head of the Mortgage Finance Fund (MFF), said in a statement.
With areas ranging between 75 to 90 square meters, the units are located in Alexandria, Al Qaliubiya, Al Fayyoum, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, Red Sea, and Marsa Matruh, the statement added.
Applicants are asked to pay 25% of the unit’s value, with the remaining amount to be paid in USD over three annual installments.
