Egyptian Developers Generate EGP 2.2 bn in Sales at Nile Property Expo in Qatar

Egyptian real estate developers recorded EGP 2.2 bn in sales during the 15th edition of the Nile Property Expo held in Doha, Qatar, last May, reflecting strong demand for Egyptian real estate in the Qatari market, Invest-Gate reports.

The event marked a significant return for Egyptian developers to Qatar after years of limited presence and drew strong attendance from Qatari officials and public figures.

Major developers participating included Tatweer Misr, Ora Developers, SODIC, Hyde Park Developments, City Edge Developments, Saudi Egyptian Developers, Cornerstone Development, Cred, Al Marasem Development, Al Burouj Misr, Inertia, Manassat Developments, Horizon Egypt Developments, UC Developments, and MAIN MARKS.

Expo Republic Chairman Dr. Bassem Kalila — the organizer of Nile Property Expo — said the 15th edition was a milestone as the largest Egyptian real estate exhibition held in Qatar in recent years.

He noted that Qatari clients praised the quality of Egyptian projects and the flexible payment plans offered, with some companies providing offers starting from zero down payment and instalments of up to 15 years.

Kalila added that Expo Republic is implementing a global marketing strategy to promote major opportunities in Egypt’s real estate market. Future editions of the expo will spotlight projects in the New Capital, New Alamein, Mostakbal City, and the North Coast.

He also revealed plans to expand the expo to new locations this year, including Saudi Arabia, Los Angeles in the US, and Toronto, Canada.
