Egyptian real estate developers express their belief that partnerships with the government have been very successful and beneficial to both sides during the Fifth Session of the Economic Conference – Egypt 2022, Invest-Gate reports.
The session addressed real estate wealth, ways for development, and boosting the private sector’s role.
Talaat Mostafa, CEO and Managing Director of Talaat Moustafa Group Holding, notes that the state has enabled the private sector to engage in a successful experience with fully-serviced urban communities that satisfy Egyptian citizens.
Mostafa says that the housing ministry has received EGP 60 bn from the Madinaty project, which exceeds the EGP 9.9 bn estimated upon signing the contract.
For his part, Emad Hammouda, Head of the Housing Committee at the Egyptian House of Representatives, demonstrates the legislative agenda for the construction and real estate development sectors, including proposed amendments to the Building Law.
The Egyptian Economic Conference takes place in the NAC from October 23rd to 15th.
The three-day event is organized by the government and is attended by ministers, along with a group of major economists, thinkers, and experts.
