Egypt’s Annual Urban Inflation Declines to 26% in November

Egypt’s inflation indicators fell in November compared to figures posted in October 2017, Reuters reports.

Annual urban consumer price inflation eased to 26% in November from 30.8% in October, the official statistics agency CAPMAS said in a statement on Sunday.

Inflation rose after Egypt floated the local currency in November last year, hitting a record high in July on the back of energy subsidy cuts.
