Egypt-based Arab Contractors Company has completed the construction of Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Hospital in Kuwait, considered the world’s sixth largest hospital, reported Amwal Al Ghad.
The investment cost of the project is $1 bn, according to Mohsen Salah the company’s Chairman in the opening ceremony of the project.
He added that the hospital, which is one of the largest projects implemented by the Arab Contractors outside Egypt, is built on a total area of 720,000 square meters.
The hospital will be managed by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health and includes 1,168 beds, along with several facilities that include medical services, diagnostic and treatment services, a trauma center, dental facility, in- and – out patient care services, and VIP suites.
