Egypt’s Housing Ministry Holds Draw for Valley Towers Units in October Gardens

Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Sherif El Sherbini, announced the completion of a public draw to allocate 2,406 residential units in the “Valley Towers” project in October Gardens, Invest-Gate reports.

The draw occurred at the Zewail Road Sports Hall. More than 11,000 citizens applied to reserve units in the project.

Moreover, Minister El Sherbini highlighted that the substantial turnout underscores public trust in the Ministry of Housing’s residential initiatives. The registration period for Valley Towers, initially offering 984 units, concluded on August 29, 2024, following high demand from citizens. Due to this overwhelming response, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) announced on August 8 that the number of available units would increase to 2,406.

Furthermore, Hassan El Shourbagy, NUCA’s Vice Chairman for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, explained that applicants who had completed their reservation payments could attend the live draw. The draw was also broadcast live on NUCA’s website to facilitate easy access for all applicants.

Also, this initiative is part of the Ministry’s “Masaken” housing program, which launched on June 11, 2024.

Notably, the program aims to provide affordable housing in response to increasing demand.
