The competition aims to provide innovative housing models that contribute to environmental preservation. It is conducted in partnership between the fund and research center, with participation from research bodies, the World Bank, IFC, and the African Union for Housing Finance.

Abdel Hamid thanked Housing Minister Assem El-Gazzar for sponsoring the competition. To date, the fund has built 649,000 units through initiatives like “Housing for All Egyptians,” benefiting 535,000 families with EGP8.7 bn in aid.
