A group of Egyptian investors consider expanding in the African market and increasing their investments in the continent, Invest-Gate reports.
Such an attitude has been manifested during a meeting between Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and the investors from the Egyptian Union for Investors Associations (EUIA). The EUIA gathers 55 associations for investors.
During the meeting, Nasr says that solving obstacles facing Egyptian investors tops the government’s priorities in the coming period.
“The government is keen on coming up with the new investment law soon as well as enforcing it,” Nasr adds, noting that the country’s main goal is to attract more investments to the country.
Meanwhile, Egyptian investor and EUIA Head Farid Khamis claims EUIA’s investments are already in 12 countries, as well as partnerships with dozens of investors.
