Egypt’s Minister of Housing Inspects Social Housing Units in Hadayek Al-Asimah

Minister of Housing Assem El-Gazzar toured units of Egypt’s “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative for low- and middle-income residents in Hadayek Al-Asimah (“Capital Gardens”), accompanied by a group of ministerial and municipal officials, Invest-Gate reports.

He inspected completed units and emphasized the need to deliver housing on schedule alongside implementing support services for residents. El-Gazzar also stressed coordinating construction sites and developing green areas.

The chairman of Hadayek Al-Asimah Development Authority detailed 92,322 low-income housing units – 29,496 completed, and 62,826 under construction. It’s also implementing 7,368 middle-income units.

So far 20,412 low-income units have been allocated and 14,277 delivered. Support projects underway include schools, nurseries, markets, and health facilities across 79 sites.

The Housing for All Egyptians program provides low-cost accommodation along with middle-income housing and amenities.
