The Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund (SHMFF) wins the MENA Housing Forum Innovation Awards 2022 during the events of the MENA Housing Forum organized in Cairo by Habitat for Humanity, an NGO operating in 70 countries, Invest-Gate reports.
Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, congratulates employees at the SHMFF for their efforts to implement the presidential program “Housing for All Egyptians.”
El-Gazzar notes that the program is among the biggest and most successful low- and middle-income housing programs all over the world, adding that the program provides a comprehensive framework for bolstering sustainable urban systems in the framework of the Sustainable Development Plan 2030.
Mai Abdelhamid, CEO of the SHMFF, commends her colleagues’ efforts at the fund, reiterating that the award is a testament that the fund succeeds in the execution of President Abdelfattah El-Sisi’s Housing for All Egyptian program.
She remarks that the award focuses on supporting innovative solutions for low-income housing, adding that 500 competitors join the primary phases of the prize.
