The EU commissioner in Egypt announced in a Monday statement that the European Investment Bank (EIB) will sign on Wednesday three agreements to fund infrastructure projects in Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.
The announcement will be on the sidelines of the EIB MED conference: Boosting Investments in the Mediterranean Region.
Further details regarding the deals will be revealed at the conference.
The conference will gather a number of regional, local and international investors as well as a number of government officials to discuss means of boosting investment opportunities between public and private sector.
The country is currently working on implementing its full urban development plan through establishing new industrial zones, building new cities as well as improving the social life in rural areas.
