Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled El Anany had inspected the Museum of the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to follow up on new developments in preparation for the grand opening, Invest-Gate reports.

The visit included a tour for museum halls, where El Anany directed to add more artifacts from various Egyptian eras such as Coptic and Islamic to enrich the museum, and to give an overall picture of the development of Egyptian capitals throughout years, according to a ministerial statement on September 21.

The minister also emphasized the necessity to adhere to the set delivery dates, besides keeping the highest efficiency; he also vowed to make intensive periodic visits to follow up on work progress.

During the tour, El Anany was accompanied by Major General Mohamed Amin, Assistant to the President of the Republic for Financial Affairs, Mustafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Ali Omar, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Museums, along with other officials and dignitaries.
