Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that the Central Reconstruction Agency, affiliated with the Ministry and through the Central North Coast Reconstruction Authority, has completed 75 projects in Motobas Center, in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, Invest-Gate reports.

These projects mark the completion of the initial phase of the Hayah Karima Presidential Initiative, aimed at revitalizing rural areas in Egypt, as Motobas Center includes five local units with 18 villages.

El-Gazzar highlighted that the ministry, in collaboration with the Central Agency for Reconstruction, is actively executing focused projects across 25 centers in 10 governorates, encompassing 741 villages and their surrounding areas.

Furthermore, the initiative entails the establishment of citizen services complexes, agricultural services complexes, the improvement and expansion of youth centers, the construction of bridges over waterways, the enhancement of healthcare facilities, the establishment of ambulance points, the development of social solidarity services facilities, the implementation of electricity and public lighting projects, the construction of roads, and the creation of Sakan Karim buildings to provide housing for citizens.

In the same context, Mahmoud Nassar, Head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, said that the projects planned and currently being implemented in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate within Hayah Karima include the work of developing and strengthening electricity and public lighting networks in 18 villages, to improve the services provided to citizens.

Nassar mentioned that the work was completed power was launched in eight villages, and works are being implemented in 10 villages, with completion rates ranging between 50 and 95%.
