Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar announces the implementation of the first 16-km road in New Sphinx City, Invest-Gate reports.

The new road is to connect the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road with the Provincial Ring Road passing through Rod El-Farag/El-Dabaa Axis. This road is to link Egypt’s Agricultural Future Project with regional roads within the scope of the New Delta Project.

In this context, Khaled Sorour, head of the New Sphinx City Development Authority, indicates that coordination has been made with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to provide residents with service projects, including the Sphinx Police Complex project, a health unit, a commercial market, and a basic education school.

Sorour also declares that one of the internal transportation companies will study the provision of suitable means of transportation. Additionally, the reconciling mechanisms of the conditions of landholders within the city cordon were reviewed with regard to converting the activity from agricultural to residential.
