El-Gazzar Checks Progress in New Obour’s Alternative Housing

Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, inspects the alternative housing project in New Obour City, Invest-Gate reports.

The project confirms the state’s resolution to provide all classes of income with appropriate housing units and offer a decent life to citizens, in line with the state’s strategy for the building of urban communities with integrated services, El-Gazzar notes.

He adds that the alternative housing project in New Obour is underway in the city’s 14th District.

El-Gazzar unveils that the project includes 96 buildings, comprising 3,360 housing units with spaces ranging between 90 and 115 sqm per unit.

The project also includes 96 administrative units planned to be offered for various activities, in addition to 96 commercial shops, an elementary school, a shopping mall, a medical center, and a nursery.

Moreover, Ahmed Ali, Head of the New Obour Development Authority, comments that finishing works are underway, including interlocks, gardens, lighting, and irrigation networks.
