El-Gazzar, CSCEC Chairman Review Progress of Joint Projects in NAC, New Alamein City

At the headquarters of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) in Beijing, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El-Gazzar has held talks with CSCEC’s Chairman Zheng Xuexuan and CSCEC’s Vice President Li Yongming to discuss the status of joint projects, Invest-Gate reports.

Key projects under consideration included the Central Business District in the New Administrative Capital and the Downtown Towers project in New Alamein City. The discussions aimed to enhance collaboration within the robust Egypt-China relations.

Moreover, Xuexuan warmly welcomed El-Gazzar and the Egyptian Ambassador to China Assem Hanafi, highlighting Egypt as CSCEC’s key partner in the Middle East and North Africa.

Also, he acknowledged the significant progress in cooperation with Egypt in recent years. Xuexuan noted the challenges faced by the Central Business District project, particularly the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, expressing gratitude for the support from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Emphasizing the seriousness of the Egyptian government in project implementation and the effectiveness of the Ministry of Housing, Xuexuan stated that the collaboration benefits both nations economically and contributes to the success of the Chinese company.

El-Gazzar described cooperation between China and Egypt as excellent, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Housing and CSCEC, stressing its significance in mutual development.
