Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, follows up on the implementation rate of the medium-sized housing units, within the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” in the New Nasser city in Assiut, Invest-Gate reports.

The minister stresses the need for continuous field inspection of the execution of the units to ensure it adheres to the schedule, and with high quality. Additionally, he affirms the need to finalize the services area of the project.

Yasser Abdullah Ramadan, head of the New Nasser City Development Authority, says that he and members of the technical support unit at the Ministry of Housing, officials of the city authority, and representatives of contracting companies, inspect the implementation of the housing units in the middle housing axis.

The delegation tours the site of the project, which includes 15 buildings with 360 units. Around 60% of these units are completed.

It is worth noting that Nasser City in West Assiut is one of the fourth-generation cities. It is situated on an area of 6,006.2 acres, 4 km from the Assiut International Airport, and 14 km from the city of Assiut.

The city is expected to accommodate about 345,000 people, and the strategic plan for the city includes residential areas that include educational, recreational, religious, and health services.
