Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, follows up on the execution rate of the projects being implemented under the presidential initiative, “Hayah Kareema,” in Esna in Luxor governorate, Invest-Gate reports.

The minister points out that the Central Agency for Reconstruction is responsible for the projects’ implementation in 10 governorates, as a part of the first phase of the presidential initiative.

In this regard, Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, discloses that nine citizen service complexes are being established in Esna, in addition to nine agricultural service complexes, nine ambulance points, eight youth centers, in addition to upgrading 21 youth centers.

Moreover, He adds that the construction and replacement of 11 bridges are underway, in addition, it is planned to implement more than 100 km of roads in Esna. Besides, the electricity networks have been developed and strengthened in all villages.

​Additionally, Nassar discloses that the required housing units for the needy families are constructed in Esna as a part of the “Sakan Karim” project.
