Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, meets with representatives from CSCEC and the ministry’s officials, to follow up on the Downtown Towers project in the New Alamein City, including the proposed facade designs and other technical issues to push the project’s development, Invest-Gate reports.
The project encompasses five fully finished residential towers, overlooking an artificial lake. The iconic 250m-high tower (68 flr.) spans an area of 465,000 sqm and is scheduled to be implemented within 45 months; the other four towers are, each, 200m high (56 flr.) and span an area of 320,000 sqm. They are scheduled to be implemented within 39 months.
Additionally, El Gazzar discloses that the Downtown Towers project will develop the New Alamein City area, as the Central Business District (CBD) to the New Administrative Capital (NAC), stressing that the New Alamein City is not a summer destination, “yet it is an all-year-round city,” he notes.
