El-Gazzar Follows up on New Nubariya Extension Project

Minister of Housing Assem El-Gazzar held a meeting to review the strategic plan for extending New Nubariya, a city located north of Cairo on 54,000 acres, Invest-Gate reports.

During a visit to New Nubariya, El-Gazzar was joined by Deputy Housing Minister for Infrastructure Sayed Ismail, New Urban Communities Authority Vice Presidents Abdel-Muttalib Mamdouh and Walid Abbas, and Ahmed Ismail Jabr, Head of the New Nubaria City Development Authority.

El-Gazzar said the Nubariya extension represents a major addition to Egypt’s new cities, given its location on the road connecting Wadi El-Natrun and El Alamein.

He noted it sits across from the planned Mostakbal and New Delta projects, making it a vital urban hub and service center.

The minister added that the city’s proximity to El Alamein, Burj Al Arab, and main roads, ports, and logistics areas make it strategic.

By the end of the extension project, Nubariya is expected to house 750,000 residents, according to a statement by the Ministry of Housing.
