El Gazzar Follows Up on NAC’s Central Business District Operation Plan

Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has met with representatives of a major international company specialized in managing and operating skyscrapers and smart cities worldwide to follow up on the steps of the management and operation plan of the Central Business District (CBD) in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Invest-Gate reports.

El Gazzar stresses that the CBD project in NAC has to be operated and managed in accordance with the international standards and in line with the project’s global marketing plan, as the project aims at attracting investment opportunities.

The minister remarks that the CBD’s management and operation plan coincides with the completion of the glass facade works for a number of towers, in parallel with the implementation of the internal finishing works.

It is worth highlighting that one of the CBD towers will be delivered in the beginning of 2022 and the other towers will be delivered during the same year.The CBD has 20 towers, including the 400-m iconic tower. These towers are implemented in cooperation between the Ministry of Housing and the Chinese company (CSCEC), with investments estimated at USD 3 bn.
