El Gazzar Follows up on Projects’ Implementation in Badr City

Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, states that 2,208 housing units are being implemented in distinguished housing units and units for NAC’s employees in Badr City, Invest-Gate reports.

For his part, Ammar Mandour, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, reviews the position of NAC’s employees’ housing, explaining that 9,024 units and utility works in phase I of the project have been completed and put up for reservation and 4,704 units are being implemented in phase II with an advanced Implementation percentage and 7,080 units are underway in phase III.

Moreover, phase I services of “Sakan Misr” and “NAC’s employees’ housing” include the implementation of two nurseries, two health units, 4 commercial markets, 3 schools, two bakeries and a playground and all of them have been completed.

Mandour indicates, “the implementation of the drinking water lifting station No. 4 and the transmission line 1,600 mm in diameter up to the lifting station No. 5, besides completing the implementation of the drinking water lifting station No. 5, also the implementation of the sewage line 1,800 mm in diameter and the implementation of Badr transformer station.”

He further states that work is underway to develop and expand roads in the city’s old residential neighborhoods and implement some new roads in the 4th district, “Ebny Beitak”, “National Housing” and “Social Housing.”
