Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, holds a meeting with Mohamed Al-Zamlot, governor of Al Wadi Al Gadid, among other ministry officials, to follow up on the progress of the ongoing projects implemented by the Ministry of Housing in the governorate, Invest-Gate reports.
El Gazzar states that nine projects are ongoing, with a total investment of EGP 2.9 bn, as well as implementing 25 potable water and sanitation projects.
Furthermore, around 50 rural houses have been constructed in Khartoum village in Dakhla, around 38 electricity generation units have been supplied, and the second and the third phases of the Tanida/Manfalut axis are underway. Additionally, the construction of 26 residential buildings with a total of 520 housing units in the Kharga Center.
This comes under the ministry’s efforts to enhance the services in the governorate through the execution of several service and development projects.
