Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, follows up the executive position of Soor Magra-El-Oyoun Fence project, which is one of the most important development projects being implemented in Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.
El Gazzar explains that the concrete structure for 77 buildings has been completed, and the 67 buildings’ facades have been completed, in addition to implementation of finishing works for the rest facades, interior finishes and utility works with advanced rates.
Moreover, Soor Magra-El-Oyoun Fence project includes implementation of 79 buildings of different heights, including 1,924 housing units, and 18 commercial units on the ground floor of some buildings.
The project also includes an administrative and entertainment commercial mall, with an implementation rate of 72% which is built on an area of 51,000 sqm and includes restaurants, cinemas, and other activities, a garage with a capacity of 1,355 cars, in addition to a main open theater in front of the mall.
El Gazzar stresses: “the projects to develop Historic Cairo, that are being implemented, aim to raise the level of one of the most important areas in Cairo, along with the urban renaissance in Egypt during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, whether by expanding the urban area by establishing new cities or developing the existing ones.”
