Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar and Major General Ashraf Attia, governor of Aswan, have inspected the tourist river strip projects in the new city of Aswan, Invest-Gate reports.
The Minister of Housing Assem El Gazzar along with Governor of Aswan Major General Ashraf Attia tour various projects on the river strip, where the minister stresses the need to adhere to specific timetables, to implement this important project, which will be a distinctive landmark on the shore of the Nile River in Aswan Governorate, according to an official statement on January 31.
Both inspect the 1800 m- Nile Walk project and the southern part with a length of 4200 m, which includes shops, restaurants, a marina, pedestrian walkway, and a Nubian village; furthermore, preparations are underway to start implementing the Marina with a length of 1,850 meters.
Officials also visit the open theater project on an area of 5.5 acres, accommodating 3,000 spectators with a panoramic view of the Nile River. They also tour the villas in the tourist river strip in the new city of Aswan, with a total number of 150.
