Egypt’s Minister of Housing Assem El Gazzar meets Angola’s Minister of Public Works, Urbanism, and Housing, Carlos Alberto Gregorio dos Santos in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), to discuss Egypt’s experiences in urban development, Invest-Gate reports.
El Gazzar expresses Egypt’s willingness to share its expertise with Angola, including capacity-building, experience exchange, and project implementation through Egyptian contracting companies.
The Arab Contractors Company is highlighted as an example of the extensive experience in implementing various urban development projects in Egypt, with about 3,000 companies now able to implement various projects abroad.
Dos Santos expresses his excitement at exploring the Egyptian urban experience and thanked the Egyptian officials for the opportunity to do so.
Both ministers agree to form specialized working groups from both sides to cooperate in various fields, including capacity building, construction, and infrastructure projects.
This visit from Angola’s delegation aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries and turn it into a tangible reality.
