Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has held a meeting with Prince Khaled bin Saud bin Turki Al Saud, Amr Afifi, CEO of the Saudi SFIG Group, and their accompanying delegation to discuss investment opportunities in various sectors, Invest-Gate reports.
The meeting was attended by Waleed Abbas, Deputy Chairman of The New Urban Communities Authority for Planning and Projects (NUCA); Abdel-Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing for Technical Affairs; Sherif El-Sherbiny, Head of the New Administrative Capital Authority; and Hassan Al-Laithi, Advisor to the Ministry of Housing for International Cooperation and international conference affairs.
During the meeting, El-Gazzar welcomed Prince Khaled bin Saud and his delegation to Egypt, emphasizing that the Egyptian state is committed to providing full support and creating a conducive environment for investment in various sectors, particularly for Arab investors. He highlighted the promising investment opportunities available in Egypt, especially in new cities.
El-Gazzar presented multiple investment opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors, as well as in food manufacturing, which piqued the interest of the Saudi delegation. Among the opportunities discussed were the central business district in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) and the Downtown Towers area in New Alamein City, among others.
Prince Khaled bin Saud bin Turki Al Saud praised the considerable efforts made by the Egyptian state in executing large-scale projects across various sectors within record timeframes. He expressed a strong interest in investing in Egypt, a promising area of the region that offers lucrative investment opportunities in various fields.
