El-Gazzar Monitors Progress of Amr Ibn Al-Aas Free Axis Project in Giza Governorate

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El-Gazzar has been monitoring the progress of the Amr Ibn Al-Aas free axis project in Giza Governorate, Invest-Gate reports.

The project is being implemented by the Central Agency for Reconstruction, under the supervision of the Greater Cairo Reconstruction Authority.

El-Gazzar emphasized the significance of this traffic axis, as it is one of the national projects being executed by the Central Reconstruction Agency.

Moreover, Mahmoud Nassar, the Head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, conducted an inspection of the project site. He was accompanied by officials from the Greater Cairo Reconstruction Authority, the general consultant for the project, and representatives from the implementing companies. Nassar highlighted the project’s progress and the timely completion of the work.

Nassar noted that the Amr Ibn Al-Aas axis project is the second free traffic axis in the Giza Governorate. It connects the southern arc of the Ring Road (at its intersection with the El Mariouteya axis) with the northern arc of the Ring Road (near Manshiyet Al-Bakari).

This axis runs parallel to the Lieutenant General Kamal Amer axis, which was implemented by the Central Agency for Reconstruction through the Greater Cairo Reconstruction Authority.

The project is part of an integrated plan aimed at reducing congestion on the El Mariouteya axis, facilitating smooth traffic movement within Giza Governorate, and enhancing connectivity between Cairo and Giza Governorates.
